Okay...I lost 36 pounds on the South Beach Diet in about 2 and a half months. I have been off this diet for 4 months and I haven't gained a pound back. To anyone who wants to lose some weight, I suggest the South Beach Diet. I know 4 other people who went on it and none of htem have been disappointed yet.

i've been doing really good so far this week. i'm starting to see great results in my body and all it takes is to just exersize and push yourself to the limit and healthy eating. what i've been doing this week is setting really high exersize goals for myself on a calender and then just doing as much as i can to try and fufill those goals. all you need for a gym in my opinion is a yoga tape, a couple taebo tapes and some 5 lb free weights and it'll work great...good luck everyone- i know that anyone who really want this can do it...

Krystle, Age 18 have u actually read the book???? it not a quick fix it a LIFESTYLE. people think u just gore on bacon and stuff......no u don't and SOME fat is good for you cause your body need it to function and another thing i've been on a low cal diet you would have to eat that same amount like for the rest of your like just to matinee (did i mention counting calories is way to much work) Also with Atkins u stay full mentally and physical because u getting the right fat and protein. when have a low cal diet every been fulfilling? never and to mention (i done lost 10 pounds with atkins so far and feel wonderful) read the book. The guy live to be over 70 so i mean he must have been doing someting right

I was wondering if anyone tried body wraps. They r those bandages that u soak in sum sort of liquid or a mix and then wrap them onto ur body like a mummy and stay like that for 1 hr. As a result u loose 6-20" or more! And it's not water weight. They also say that its absolutely healthy and permanent. You loose very little weight, but the difference should be significant bcz u won't have as much fat on you. Also it should b good for ur skin, it makes it smoother and firmer! PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU TRIED IT AND IF IT REALLY WORKED THE WAY THEY PROMISE IT TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Advice!!!!Myself, I wouldn't do that high protein diet= The Ackins Diet!! Because it seems to be all the wrong foods and too much fat. Remember the weight isn't going to disappear over night and it will take a lot of hard work. The Ackins diet seems like a quick fix to me, and you can't get a quick fix if you want to keep the weight off. But it's worth it!! I lost 21lbs by counting kcal and keeping fat grams low. It worked like a charm, it's been a whole year since I lost that weight and I only gain 7lbs back!! meaning, I kept a whole 14lbs off!!!! *Have you included any exercise into this new lifestyle? Start off slow like 1 - 2 time a week and build up to exercising five times a week. That's what I'm doing!!! *I know it's shocking when the weight sneaks up on you but remember, you can beat it and you will. This is a new wall in your life that you will over come. hey yall wuts crackalackin? I'm just tryin to tell ya, that no matter what diet you are on, it is easier to stay on it if you plan your meals ahead of time. I dont really know about planing your activities time, cause i know that i irritate myself when i do that and i dont stick to it, but when you plan your meals, ya have to eat and then you know exactly what you should eat, and how much of it you need to fill you up. talk to ya later-peace out

Ashley - You didnt read my post correctly.. Sure vegetarians seem healthy because they eat loads of fruit and veggies, but they can also just as easily pig out on junky foods too. And in my post I said I am now trying to eat heathy foods to try and loose my weight. vegetarians can still fall into the trap of eating bad foods.. so to anwser your question this is why im an overweight vegetarian.
