Also if i'm suppost to then how do i know what certin food's, like vegtables that arent labeled, how may calories it has.

Ht. 5'7", Start: 215 lb, Today: 205 lb, Goal: 150 lb - okay- so i've lost like 10lbs so far. it took a long time to finally get the ball rolling. i found out i really can't lose weight without counting calories- so i did and it's working. i'm a compulsive over eater- but i think it's less emotional now and more of a physical habit, so it's been easier lately sticking to my calories because i can deal with the physical addiction to food, just physical cravings, not as much of a mental dependancy. but i'm having one of those days where i feel like a beached whale. i biked to work and back even in 95 degree weather and ate 1275 calories of mostly very health foods, a lot of fiber and protein of course (fiber helps weight loss A LOT). but- i keep touching my body or looking down at it and tearing up, because i just have sooo much fat all over. i'm so disgustingly squishy- i can just sink my hands into almost all parts of my body inches and... Ht. 5'5", Start: 230 lb, Today: 230 lb, Goal: 145 lb - well today was my first day back on track...and it wasent as hard as what i thought it was going to be. i drank lots of water and i even have 10 cals to spare....i also worked out today. so i am on the right track. my only prob is now i am wanting to munch on stuff casue that's what i do so late at night... i'll hae a bowl of cerel but i'm going to cut that out. good luck to you all and i'll be back to post tommorrow.

I really have to crack down and get serious about losing weight because I was to feel beautiful while taking my senior pictures, but bulky and unattractive. I just want to feel confident when I look at myself. I start my new job pretty soon, so I'm going to start buying my own groceries and such. I've tried a million times to lose weight, but this time has got to work.

Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 176 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Hey guys, well I've been doing good...but I don't really think I can say that because the scale never moves! so I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong. But I've gotten into dancing again and am eating better. But I don't know, when I don't see the numbers go down...I just feel like I'm not doing enough and I KNOW that it's a gradual process...but still at this point in my life, I really need some motivation and when the numbers go down..I feel super motivated and just want to exercise till i dropp, you knoww what I mean? ahh I don't know. Just wish I saw a change in that dumb scale. :(

I lost weight at college this past year kind of unintentionally...what with not having food in front of my face every second. Also, I joined the crew team second semester, which was awesome. Anways, I'm going to crack down on my diet and try to lose weight. I'm doing this because I want to be healthy. Also, I'm rowing varsity for my college next semester and everyone is all up in each other's weight and such (the coach even weighs us in front of everyone) and I don't want to be super embarrassed when this whole process goes down. Don't get me wrong, I have the fitness. I row the second fastest time on the team and finish the 5 mile runs before most of the team in the fast group; however, I can't continue on like this. I believe its possible but im going to need some help. Ne one want to be a weight loss buddy with me. One who will stick and not ditch after a week or so.
