hi...been reading through the messages posted & people seem 2 have completely the wrong idea. weight loss aint gonna jus happen overnight & you're not goin 2 loses 50lbs in 5 weeks!! all these fad diets don't work...miracles don't happen...it took me years 2 realize something soooo simple. I thought there had 2 b a quicker way but theres not...healthy eating& exercise is the only way...cut out the snacks & go 4 a walk. aim to lose 1-2 lbs a week. anymore and ull end up puttin it bk on plus more and give up from not eatin enough. it may seem long bu think about it in the long run. in a year or two u could b thin & its more likely 2 stay off rather than tryin 2 find quick miracles but find urself still fat in two years time...mayb even fatter!!!! think about it guys...dont make urself ill over it make urself healthier& fitter xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxall the bestxxx

Hey everybody! Lovely day is it not? I have a couple of questions.1. Is drinking carbonated water the same exact as drinking non-carbonated water? 2. Is anyone in here a dancer, or can tell me how i can tone my muscles so they are not so bulky? (the reason I say dancers is because I know dancers have a special way of making muscles stronger, but not bulkier).3. Hi I posted earlier today but its on page 3 now and i want more responses so im asking again! Im 5'9'' and 195 lbs. Im in 8th grade. By the time i start highschool(10th grade) in about a year and a half i would love to be 130 i want to do it slowly so i dont mess up my body and get saggy skin and stuff cuz i have to lose a whopping 65 lbs. I was 130 at the end of 6th grade and by the end of 7th grade I was at 190! During the summer between 6th and 7th grade my dad died, then my doctor said i had something called depressional weight gain.(sorry for the extra info, just for your info) Does anyone know any good exercises( they cant be like running and stuff cuz i have really bad ashtma) and diets or meal plans or like umm how many calories to eat a day i have about 18 months so i'd like to lose about 5 to 10 lbs a month! Hey you guys I just got a book out of the library and theres a section about like body image and losing weight and stuff and it says that its not to great to go on a low calorie diet because your body knows how much u have to eat so when you dont consume as many calories your metabolism slows down therefore once you eat normally again you will gain your weight bak and maybe more ...thats basically wat it said.. so I dont know if I should go on a low calorie diet anymore.. so I was thinking low fat diet..how many grams of fat should I eat a day if I want to lose ... 2-3lbs a week.. thx =)

Anyway i would like to weigh 120 pounds when cole comes to prove to him that everything his cousin told him was a bunch of bull. I want to look good for once in my life. Hey everyone. I am 14 years, 5'6" and i weigh 170. I am eating healthier and excersizing but nothing is happening. I don't want to turn into a person that just complains about their weight, I want to do something about it. Ive heard some stuff about a diet where you eat mostly fruit and drink only water or diet soda, and you lose a lot of weight. heres an idea I have, tommorow I am making an "at home gym"! At my house we have old weights,one machine,some yoga mats, random workout tapes and some extra workout materials like bands, boards ect....I am going to designate a space in the attic by our tv as a workout station, with a boom box and everything! I think this would be a great idea for the winter and someone who likes to work out at home! If you dont have any workout material at all and you cant afford to buy some, you can used canned food as weights, do little things like deignate little areas to dance like crazy (yes its a workout if you do it long enough) and lay out a towel and print out palietes and yoga moves from the interet and do them there....plus you can make this gym as cute as you want! you can decorate it with pictures, boas, whatever you want! I think AN IN HOME GYM! is a great idea, if you need any ideas or help...just leave a reply and ill get back to ya!

I have to take steroids for lung problems. My doctor had threatned to take me away from my parents because I am over weight. She is the one who prescribes the steroids. On March 11 I have to go and see her for a check up on my lungs. I haven't lost weight but I haven't gained any. I dread seeing her. Do you have any tips on losing weight?
