do the normal calories in food matter (like shud you worry about counting them) or are the fat calories the only ones that make you gain weight???

Well it has been awhile since I have been here. I have been putting it off for finals, work, extracurriculars, and stuff like that. I am 5ft 8 inches and 161 pounds.I am not happy about that since I have wieght in places whihch is very embarrising such as in the upper chest. But over the summer I am going to run for 30 minutes or an hour everyday. I want to tone my body for I look great when I get back to school.Can someone tell me their expierence with runnning and what foods are good to eat for a runner. Thnx

I really want to target my stomach. I think after losing 15-20ish pounds, it should pretty much be gone. But since you lose weight all over, I'm affraid that it will take alot to achive my goal of having a flat stomach. So any tips/ideas on how to target my stomach mainly?

ok so i'm, sortof p!&# off because i joined la weight loss a week ago and i have lost some weight but i'm just really mad because i'm having trouble sticking to the menu and getting in my exercise can anyone help me!?!

I lost 0.6 pounds this week, YEAH! SO I am 174! That is a 36 pounds weight loss since the beginning of last year! Slow and steady, but it will never come back on accept it I become pregnaut (lol). I hope everyone else had a good week.

I did awful so far. B= cocoa puffs and a poptart L=veggie hoagie and milk After school= bean burrito, mike & ikes, dorritos, and half a donut....oh well I'll do better tommorow

Aaron just hear this..Feel free to go on your 3000 calories a day diet.. just have fun sitting on the computer and talkin a bunch of bs which if you eat 3000 u better be running for like 3 hours..another thing.. i think EVERYONE knows about now not to take your advice..so feel free to waste your time even though u could be burning off the excess calories ...wanna keep talkin then take it offthis Board and add me or email me danyelle_p43@hotmail.com i think we owe it to these hard workers not to take your issues and to get it in the way of their success..and i am chic* not a dude dany stands for danyelle ..duh..now aaron on the other hand?? you cant talk crap very well and im thinking a gurl but iuno maybe a man

alright so i did well today except i snacked when i got home... i was worried so i weighed myself after and it actually said i was down a pound so i guess the one screw up didnt screw me up.. lol.... any tips????

yesterday my P.E teacher started having us take showers and when I took off my clothes everyone started to laugh at all my stretch marks and my cellulite then the gym teacher who heard all the taunting came in and saw me and made a demeaning comment about the stretchmarks and told me that i could wear a bathing suit next time but that would be very embarrasing being the only girl not naked when taking a shower

hmm..ok so i think i did ok today..for brek i had a kashi bar and a banana (approx. 275 calories) and for lunch i had half a tuna sandwich, a 100 cal. pack, and some carrots (approx. 275 calroeis) then for snack i had some baked tostitos with salsa (probably about 175 calories..which i no is slightly a lot)...yeah for dinner im having pizza, but im gonna limit myself to to peice and im gonna have a salad, so im assuming about 500 calories for that..is that ok?

over the summer im going to lose 17 pounds i just need some help right now i have soo many cravings for cake and its every where and the worst thing is im not even on my period what can i do? i still havent heard anything about my knee which is making me mad because i want to RUN! but i have been swimming today i swam 44 laps well good luck every one ttyl
