Ht. 5'8", Start: 168 lb, Today: 168 lb, Goal: 140 lb - hey i'm soo glad its summer and my goal is to lose 20 pounds by august 20(start of school again). i have been trying to lose weight foreverrr but have never been able to lose more like a couple of pounds. last winter i gained a lot of weight :( (about 10 pounds) and i have managed to keep my weight stable but no matter what i do it wont go down. i know HOW to lose weight- eat healthy and excercise. but i eat really healthy and excercise about an hour 5-7 days a week. i also go to the gym 3-4 days a week. i am determined to reach my goal by the end of the summer! does anyone have any tips on how to boost metabolism( i think that may be part of my problem), lose weight, and toning excercises?? thanks guys and good luck to everyone!

Ht. 5'6", Start: 166 lb, Today: 166 lb, Goal: 125 lb - Hey, I am not overly over weight but i am overweight. My brothers (all 3 of them) make fun of me including people at school for how heavy I am. I try to go on diets and exercise but I don't follow through with it. Does anyone have any hints on what foods to eat and exercises to do? I an really going to stick with it this time becasue of the motivation on this web site. PLEASE REPLY!!!!!!

I need 2 work on that.... but yay me... I hope that since im outta skool (which i hated so much cuz of mean ignorant ppl) I can stop gettin stressed and over eating... Ht. 5'2", Start: 210 lb, Today: 210 lb, Goal: 140 lb - ok so i am not new on here. just haven't been on in a while. theres a lot going on with me right now and i really dont know what to do. i have never been over 195lbs, but i work at mcdonalds. need i say more. my problem though is not in me being obese, its me being unhealthy. and i feel somewhat unwanted. like if a guy likes me i doubt him. then he really don't like me after that. i really do not know what to do sometimes. i dont have much support, if any. my mom wants me to lose weight. but wont do anything to help i start driving in august and im hoping then i could drive to the gym. but what do i i do before then? i really don't know what to do? i dont look as big as i am but here is my myspace if you wannna add me. www.myspace.com/xtjxjox

Ht. 5'9", Start: 202 lb, Today: 190 lb, Goal: 165 lb - Breakfast- soy yogurt with 1/2c kashi honey almond flax cereal, & 1/2 banana & strawberries. Snack- kashi honey almond flax bar. Lunch- 1/2 peanut butter sandwich with 1/2 banana & apple. Dinner- I'm not sure yet, but i'll include a side salad with it, or a salad as the main course. Yesterday I had my fav, mint chocolate chip ice cream :) its half the fat & 1/3 fewer calories from dreyers. It was bad because today I'm paying for the dairy aspect of it...I'm lactose intolerant :/ tell me how I did :) ps how are all your guys weight loss going for all of those that had a goal to lose a certain amount of weight before summer?

For exercse i did, 30 min walking around grocery shopping, 25 min soccer, 24 min soccer later, 15 min mowing the lawn. Plus im gonna do 10 min pilates. How did I do PLease REply

And I am not saying that because I weigh like 5 or 10 pounds over what I should weigh. All my friends have the body types that they can eat what and whenever they want and not do any exercise and they don't gain an ounce. Well I am not like that at all. Im convinced that if I look at something I gain a couple pounds. I really need to lose weight. I turn 15 in a month and then its only a year til I can drive. I hate that in some cars the seat belt is tight. I hate that in school I just fit in the desk. I hate getting out of breath going up the stairs. Most of all I hate gym class and getting compared to other people. My family isn't over weight like I am so I feel sometimes like I'm letting them down in some way. I don't want to be like I am. Ht. 5'2", Start: 150 lb, Today: 137 lb, Goal: 120 lb - breakfast- oatmeal and a piece of toast with water --- lunch-- tuna salad sandwich and milk---- supper kielbasa and mashed potatoes and green beans this adds up to 1243 calories 34% of these calories were fat and 50% were carbs and 16% was protein

Ht. 5'4", Start: 210 lb, Today: 162 lb, Goal: 130 lb - I think I did pretty good today so let me do what everyone else does. For breakfast I had my usual a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios with 2% milk. For lunch I had a home made chicken sandwhich in whole wheat bread with lettuce and ketchup. For snack I had an apple and 2 oranges. Dinner I had a mixed bean (kidney beans and garbanzo's) salad. I did a half hour of cardio vascular exercise, my usual 15 minute 1/2 mile walk to school and back, 5 mins of various stretching and 15 mins of lifting weights. How'd I do? I know my exercise was bad but I was really out of it today. I finally didn't binge...I controlled myself this time and I really feel like it's going to go back to normal from here. Tell me how I did!! be brutal if you have to, pull a Simon Cowell for all I care. I need feedback! :)
