Ht. 5'8", Wt. 175 - ok guys, i learned this in biology class but its sort of interesting, it might be a little long but bear with me. For energy, your body burns carbohydrates, then when it runs out of that fat, then protein. So, in order to lose weight you should limit your intake of both carbohydrates and fats, but not so much that for energy you go into burning your protein stores. This is because when your burning your protein for energy, you basically eating your own muscle, heart, etc, and thats starvation mode. Also, burning protein produces a toxic waste product. Also, when you lose weight, you might not notice that many pounds gone on a scale very fast at first, because when you get rid of fat in your fat cells, the expect at first that they'll have to be filled with fat again, so they just fill up with water to keep... Ht. 5'7", Wt. 250 - Hey everybody...As you can see from my information above I am 16 5'7 250 lbs. I really want to start a new life style... Walking down the street and being called fat you get sick....but also want to do it for my own health...Also I am going on a trip with my friend Myrtle Beach in the summer...wanna lose weight by then..how much do you think should be my goal...and any tips on exercising like how much honestly do you exercise a day what do you do and how many...thanx in advance for your help

Ht. 5'7", Wt. 198 - Hi guys I am part of the xmas challange.....and i weighed myself this morning and im at 198 so im done 8 pounds from a week ago....my measurements are 44inches(stomach) and 38inches(thighs)....so im done an inch in my stomach and im done 12 inches in my thigh.....my goal is to be 160 by spring break(the first week in april...that would mean looseing 5 pounds every two weeks...i think I can do it or at least get VERY close to that goal.....welll those are my stats for the xmas challenge....GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Ht. 5'8", Wt. 175 - i weighed myself this morning and i gained 2 lbs! i'm so mad, because yes i haven't been doing my best, but ive been doing track and thats a ton of exercise.. i weighed myself with my clothes on though so that added a little weight but still.. GAH.. tips to get back on track PLEASE

Ht. 5'5", Wt. 176 - Hey lovelies. I used to be really overweight, but I've recently lost a bit of weight, 25 kilos (not sure how many pounds that is) anyway, still have a bit of a way to go. So yes, my question is, well I have these massive stretch marks all over me, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what I could do to prevent getting more or getting rid of the ones i have at the moment. They make me feel really self conscious. :(

Ht. 5'8", Wt. 185 - Hey everyone! I haven't been on here in a while but I have been sick these last 2 days and I used to weigh 195 now I'm 185 and I weighed myself after I ate 2 doughnuts lol. So I'm really happy!!!! I lost 10 pounds!!! Pretty crazy!
