I was just wondering whether anybody would like to start weight watchers with me??????? My mum is on it now and she has lost 18lbs in six weeks. She has ate normally and still eaten her chocolate and crisps and pasta and all the nice things. The main principle behind it is that you have a certain amount of points which you are allowed for the day. For my weight, 140lbs, i get to eat 20 points per day. This is alot considering apples are only 1/2 a point but if for example i wanted a mars bar, theres 8 of my points gone. You lose weight steadily each week, roughly 1.5-2lbs but usually more. My mum lost 6lbs in her first week. Its a really good diet because it doesnt deprive you. Im looking at losing roughly 20lbs. Im going to start it tomorrow and if anybody needs any advice or more info or wants to join me then email me at lauren4545@hotmail.com. I have got all the leaflets and guides at home which lists the foods and how many points you can burn through exercise. See you soon lauryn xx

ok i was a chubby little kid but i lost it. I didn't do it by going on bizzare diets. The water things really work...i'm also a vegetarian(not as a diet) and that cuts out a lot of greasy food cause you know almost all greasy stuff is like boiled in animal fat. But seriously stop weighing yourselves. Stop looking at famous teen icons. F*** THEM!!! teen icons are what make our country so stereotypical on only 1 kind of beauty. stop looking in mirrors. stop comparing. No has the right to judge you but yourself don't let society tell you what to look like and what's an acceptable. Stop reading those fashion magazines and thinking that's the only real beauty. Most of those girls are mean and snotty. Be beautiful on the inside and it will show on the outside. this message board upsets me. All these girls wanting to look like famous people and going on outragious diets. Stop snacking and eat healthy. stop sitting around, get into an activity...dance...sports...art...something to keep you active.

Hello! All I know is that I am 100% sick of these extra pounds I'm carying around with me. Right here, and right now, at this exact very moment I am vowing to myself that I WILL lose weight. My mom was looking through bathing suit catalogues and it made me think of how much I wouldn't look good in a bathing suit if I didn't lose some weight. So here I am, my long term goal is to lose 25 pounds. My short term is to lose 2 or 3 pounds this week. Does anyone know any strageties to motivate myself? I know how to eat healthy and everything, but does anyone know a way to work the mind? You know, like hanging up pictures of models in bathing suits on the refrigorator or stuff like that? Thanks! hey, i didnt eat well today prolly 1500 calories instead of my 1000 well i did 600 crunches and had a 4 volleyball games so yea...we got a new scale and it weigs me 4 pounds more so im going by that

How does this sound for tomorrow? for B: i am having apple cinnimon oatmean (130 cal) for S: grapes for Lunch i am having a roast beef sandwich (2 pieces of light wheat bread and one piece of roast beef), a light and fit yougart(90 cal), and about 10 baby fresh carrots, then after school i am working out for about 30 minutes. Then probably having an orange when i get home and for dinner i think i am having homemade chicken noodle soup again with toast and later maybe having an apple or something...does this sound okay?

Hey people. I am working out again and i feel good. The thing is i can't help my diet. I need help in that part. I hate eating so many fatty things. And also i always feel like i am fat unless i am hungry. Even when i am just fine (not hungy but not full) i feel like i am huge. I am not really that big but i would like to lose 10 pounds (at least) and get more muscle. And working out part is good but can you please give me tips on diet? Craving are the biggest problem.
