Ht. 5'2", Wt. 168 - idk if anyone else has this problem. im sure some of you do though. obviously im overweight. the problem is though, my mom isnt. shes 5'4" and 115 lbs. i feel like i cant talk to her about my weight and wanting to lose it because a) she doesnt know what im going through and b) its embarressing to talk about it to someone who is not overweight in the slightest bit. does anyone else have this problem that can give me some advice on the subject? thanks =]

Ht. 5'4, Wt. 160 - ok i have come here befor and im three millimeters from deciding to be anorexic once the weight is off ill stop i know they say after u make that a habit u cant stop and i can control myself prom is coming up in a few months and my cousin is always pickin on me because she has a perfect body and she said that i had to get fat guys because thats all i can have she hurt me emotionally and i want to get back at her by losing 50 pounds....i have been trying to be on a diet but i just end up eating more cause i have no one to stop me. everytime i try exercising i end up tired after only running for 1 minute i mean it gets me mad because my sister has a perfect body and has guys chasing her around i feel ugly and im the only that has to go through the bad moments when im buying clothes i have nothing that i can say "wow i look hot" because im a fat pig......literally someone please comment mine...i need some advice from people my age

Ht. 5' 7, Wt. 194 - Hi, Im new to this site. I know I am quite overweight. I keep trying to lose weight and I lost 4 pounds and then I just lose it and gain it all back. Ht. 5'6", Wt. 155 - i dunno about this whole diet thing, can people post some websites i can go to for a day-to-day diet plan... i think i want to lose about 25 pounds by june.. and i think that would b possible, i just need some help because i am eating healthy, but not losing any weight and im on varsity water polo and we practice everyday for 2 hour, even saturdays! well this is really confusing me and maybe my body type is different, but i really want to lose those 25 pounds! help me out by posting some sweet websites and commenting!

(its 11 42 at night...) but yeah right nowim gonna start my exercise plan and tomorrow i will key in my diet plan if anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated also i seem to be having a very difficult time tosaying no to eating even when i am full like a couple of hours ago i ate a sand which and then i saw some cookies on the counter and i ate them even though i wasnt hungry how can i change this?

I'VE GOT SOME TIPS FOR EVERYONE! just to let y'all know, i've lost about 10 pounds since i first have gone on this (which was about 5 weeks ago) To some it might seem like 10 pounds in 5 weeks isn't a lot at all, but remember, muslce weighs more than fat, so when you do cardio and other exercises you may also be building muscle. Anywho, here are a few random tips/exercises that can help you! #1 Replace sodas with water! it cuts out a good bit of unneeded calories! #2 If you have a low metabolism (due to genetics) take One-a-Day Active. Don't worry, they aren't drugs, just vitamins to help you. #3 If you don't exactly like eating breakfast in the morning because your stomach can't take it, drink Carnation Breakfast Shakes. I suggest Crunch Dance (which has great island dances and such) and they are really fun. #6 Don't get addicted to the scale! I have chosen to weigh myself every Friday just to keep track. Oh and don't weigh urself if ur on ur period. your weight goes up and down during that time, so avoid the scale #7 and most of all, as cliche as it sounds, have fun! :) when ever u r exercising and you think "oh i can't take this!" just think about how beautiful you are and how good ur gonna look! :) good luck all! :) (view less)

Ht. 5'11, Wt. 191 - I don't know about you, but I have some weird relationships with food. It seems like either I love it and cannot stop eating it or I won't eat at all...there really is no in between. Perhaps that's why my metabolism is so messed up. I never really thought I did this until a friend pointed it out, as well as the fact that I tend to fluctuate in weight. I stopped eating for a while (well, I ate...but it was about 300calories a day) and I lost eleven pounds really quickly. I was wondering if anyone else is like me? Or was like me, and if that's the case, how did you get your food patterns regular?

Ht. 5'8, Wt. 173ish - Tomorrow I think I might start a just fruit day/ oatmeal day and see how that goes. My mom bought some apples and bananas today and we have oatmeal that's only 150 cals. Does that sound ok? I just posted below I know But I need advice!

Ht. 5'8, Wt. 173ish - Hey everyone, I've decided to lose 10 more pounds. I'm currently a size 12/13 in juniors pants and a L in Juniors shirts. My mom doesn't think I need to lose anymore weight but I do. Do you guys think I should? I need advice. My mom says I'm perfect the way I am. But I don't want to be perfect I want to be better then perfect! I kinda want to be a size 9 but I'd be happy to be even closer to an 11. If I lost 10 pounds I could probably fit into a 9.
