hello, this is my first time on this site, and i found out about it through a book called "The Diet for Teens Only." the book was written for teens telling them about calories and fat and all that stuff and included a 7 day diet designed for someone with your bodytype according to your bmi. and the best part is, its actually healthy for teens!!! i want to start it soon with my sister and i cant wait, if anyone checks out the book or has any advice, please post!!!

Ok so was out late last night so couldn't post but here's how I did yesterday....breakfast was eggwhites and fruit lunch- turkey and cheese wrap with a salad and dinner was a chicken sandwhich and salad - snacks were fruit and rice cakes. Then I did the eliptical for 25min (300calories) and situps. Today I had a fruit salad with fiberone for breakfast, lunch was another turkey and cheese wrap and a salad as well as a fat free jello pudding snack and dinner will be a chicken wrap and a piece of fruit. Though I have classes late tonight so I can't work out. But how'd I do??? I know I so have to work out more times a week though!! I feel good when I get there just so hard to actually have hte motivation to go to the gym

well i am FINALLY 16!!! but anyway..for my birthday i got a membership to the YMCA. I'm going to go and workout, but i am wondering how much i should do because during the summer i have mandatory weightlifting for softball, so i lift for 2 hours! so should i just do some running or stationary bike stuff or what?

Hey, i weigh 215 POUNDS and im 5,6 feet tall. i been over weight ever since 5th grade and now im starting high school. i really need to loss weight. every time i start a diet i loss weight but end up gainging double what i lost. you see last year when i was going to finish 7th grade i weigh 190 pounds!i was lossing weight from a low carb diet, but it didnt work out for me. here i am a year later and I AM 25 POUNDS HEAVIER!!! THIS IS REALLY BAD. does any one have any ideas or some ways that could help me loss at least 25- 30 pounds in 3 months and then loss a total of 60 pounds in 7-8 months!! PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME I REALLY NEED TO LOSS WEIGHT!!!!!

are zone perfect bars meal replacements or just a snack? and WHAT is so great about them because, to me, they seem to have a lot of sugar? can someone just give me info on these things and why and how they work?

Hey, I was here at this site a year ago and lost 20 pounds and kept it off for the whole year. However, in the past 3 weeks i've gained 15 of it back. guess how! EATING DURING THE NIGHT! I wake up and know not to eat but i think i have too...once again i did it last night BUT....I started exercising again. I'm sitting here dog tired and my hair is dripping wet becuz I just burned 269 calories on a stationary bike and by walking around the block. I feel exhilarated!!! I LOVE EXERCISING becuz it gives me actually more energy then what i started with....I switched to diet iced-tea and surprisingly it tastes better than regualr and only has 5 cals!!!!
Write me back and tell me how much i can lose by aug 25

Hmmmm....how do you guys think i did so far: Breakfast: zone perfect bar and a banana LUnch:lowfat yourgurt and a special kay bar dinner: wer gonn have tacos..but i think i wont have meat in it and not fry the shell. SNacks: il lprolly have a 100 cal pack and fudgesicle. By the end of the day ill have dranken 8 8oz bottles of water adn ill do my walk aaway the pounds 2 mile walk adn ran on tread for 25 mins. How bad is htis?? thanks guys! :) <33

I haven't posted in a long while, but I'd like to adress that I've had major success with eating between 1200-1400 cals. per day and excercising at least 1 hour. I have lost 20 pounds, and people comment me every where I go on how good I look now. My self esteem in a lot higher, and I feel better about myself. Even my girlfriend is now thrilled to be with me for this skinny guy that was hiding behind the fat for his whole life. You can do it everyone! If I can do it, you all can do it! Have faith in yourself and get encouragment from others! It is sooo worth it in the end when you're so much healthier -- mentally and physically -- and you look a lot better. Good luck everyone!
