Omg i know this should be on the success stories board but it happened this week so i thought that id write it in on here. Well, i used to weigh 148lbs. This isnt exactly heavy but seen as id been alot smaller than this and put on 22lbs in the space of three months, it just wasnt right for me. Id say to myself "oh ill start my diet tomorrow, after ive just had another slice of my pizza" and then tomorrow would come and id put it off. One day i went into this clothes shop and i tried on a dress id liked for ages. It was my friends birthday and i wanted to look good. I put it on and it was too tight, i nearly split the seam. I kindly asked the 100lbs shop assistant if there was a bigger size and she looked me up and down and said "thats the biggest we do" and walked off. The next day i got my mum to buy healthy stuff, limted myself to three chocolate bars a week (it used to three a day) and did an hours worth of dancing five times a week. For example a typical day for me would be: breakfast- a bowl of cereal. dinner: a jacket potato, with tuna and a bit of mayo. tea: smoked haddock, baby potatoes and some veg. drinks: diet coke or water. snack: an apple or chocolate bar on the allowed days. Id come home and stick on some rnb and have a groove in my bedroom. Within two weeks id lost 9lbs and it took me only 5 weeks to lose 22lbs. I am now back to where i was and i feel great. So great that i went into that shop yesterday and tried on a size 10 and it was too big and the shop assistant (yes that one) had to go and get me a size 8. It was weird because she was so nice to me saying "do you want any help" "oh that looks lovely" and i said "no its fine thank you" and i thought to myself "your only being nice to me because im no longer overweight" its sad but its the truth. People do treat you differently and its such a satisfying feeling when you think "you wouldnt have looked twice at me when i was overweight, and now you want to be around me. Thanks but no thanks." When you want to lose weight, DO IT FOR YOURSELF!!! just have faith and persevere and i swaer, you will be looking gorgeous within no time. i dont know what to do. im at my wits end. i just like its just impossible for me to eat healthy. when im on weight watchers, i do so much better. i have so much more willpower, but now that im not on it its just so bad. my mom wont rejoin so i cant do it. im starting to keep a food diary on my computer and ive just GOT to stick with it. i gave up vegetarianism. not necessarily for good but i just figure i all ready have enough of a weight problem that if i give up meat im gonna be eating like all bread and pasta which wont do my weight loss anygood. im going to a family party tonight... any tips??

hey. I have come on this site cos i definitely need abit of moral support in losing weight. I found out the day before yesterday that the guy who i was going out with has actually been going out with two other girls. Of course i finished it and have tried to avoid him but its really depressed me. On top of this, i have got exams that i HAVE to pass and the first one is in two and a half weeks and i really think im going to fail. I just cant seem to concentrate cos im always thinking about him :( I really want to lose one and a half stone (21 lbs) so i can regain my confidence and then go out and get revenge on this guy but i dont really know the best way to do it. I have got approximately 7-8 weeks to do it. Have you got any good diets that have worked for you or a friend? Any good diet tips? Anything really! id really appreicate it. Well.... 5FT 160-165 LBS! :( thatz wack! lol anywayz i need to cut out on stuff and i need tips how to do that like certain foods and drinks. I need to exercise more. I wont be able to run around outside and ride my bike for a while cause im movin by sunday i should be out of this house into my new one and my parents dont want me going off and stuff. Im thinking if i do 50 pushups (TRY HARD) 50 crunches 50 jumping jacks running around the yard 30 mins trampoline and stuff and liftin weights My goal is 140 right now i want to loose 20 lbs if i reach that goal that would be awesome but i need to eat HEALTHIER and EXERCISE more. Anything else i can do to be more active ? by july 25th i plan to be 140 i hope! good luck everybody and wish me luck. - montana

Hye guys! i think i might hav had 2 much dinner. we had quesadillas, but all i ate today was a granola bar 4 breakfast, a turkey on wheat sandwich 4 lunch,and a yogurt 4 snack. I had like 8 small triangles of chicken quesadillas 4 dinner. I'm on weight watchers now. did i eat 2 much?

i'm a teenager and i am overweight. that is really hard for me to say. this is a really painful topic for me because i don't like myself for that reason. i feel repulsive and worthless. i have no one in my life right now who can understand the pain i go through justlooking at myself in the mirror, which is why i'm writing my true feelings here. i'm looking for some undersrtanding and maybe a little compassion. i need a friend who knows where i'm coming from. i need advice. anyone who wishes to share something with me i could use the feedback

ok, im 15 about 5'5" and i weigh around 160 last time i was weighed. i want to get down to about 125-135 by august. do yall think i can do it? im cutting out sodas and trying to cut out junk foods, what else could i do to reach this goal? && if anybody knows an effective way to trim & tone thighs it would be greatly appreciated if you would share that. thanks so much.

hi lately i have been craving so much for about 3 months, i used 2 b relatively slim but since all i eat is junk food i have noticed my thighs have got fatter and i have stretch marks and im gettin a reeli chubby face and double chin i hate it i dno wot to do its reeli getting me dwn but it cnt talk 2 ne one about it cos they just say im fine cos they dnt wana hurt my feelings!!

ok well i need to let this all out so i will. Ive been eating less and putting on weight. I have no boyfriend because i went out with sum other guy when i cudve gone out with the person i really like and now ive blown that chance. My mom is not being supportive only saying wow youve put on a lot of weight what have u been eating and really annoying me.My best friend keeps really huirting me shes always hitting me and slapping me in the face and i havent done anything and i tell her not to but she doesnt listen she thinks its funny and the worse of it all my aunties probably lost her baby. Now im reallly upset
