(just wondering). i also play tennis 1 1/2 hours a day and from now on i will do 100 crunches. wish me luck and give me tips!!

Ht. 5'8, Wt. 195 - Last week i bought "The Diet for Teenageers Only" and found outh that if i followed that program i would need to consume 2000 calories. That seems like way too much when i am trying to lose weight. I use to stick with 1200-1400 and then once I up it up 800 i constantly feel like I am over eating. It says for BMI of 29 and up to eat that (i am 29.something I think), but people with bmi of 28 eat 1600...do you think it would be more effective if I did that program instead. I mean its only a matter of of one point??? I kinda am confused on what to do-1600(although not matching BMI) or 2000(corrosponding with BMI). Any help is greatly appreciated.Thx

Ht. 5'5, Wt. 142 - Today was an alright day for me; I actually haven't gone over 1200, which is a pretty good feeling. For breakfast, I had toast, cranberry juice, and then I had an orange juice later on. For lunch, I had a pizza lunchable, which was 310 calories. For dinner, I had a bologna and cheese sandwich and a yogurt. All of that was around 940 calories. I had some tortilla chips with salsa later on, which turned out to be 1100 calories. I didn't add in the orange juice though, so I wanted to leave some room for it. Later on, I might have a 5 calorie jello. I'm also planning on walking on the treadmill for a bit. I know the foods I ate weren't the healthiest probably, but I've never really done that anyways. For me, I mostly just worry about calories, and as long as I don't splurge like I have been lately, with the cake, icecream, pie, and all, I'm feeling pretty good. Getting active and drinking water are pretty important as well. Right now, I'm not as concerned about losing anymore as I am about maintaining.

Ht. 5'6, Wt. 176 - Alright guys, so as a few of you know, I've been here since July 16th. (thats 16 days) and I just wanna say that by eating 1250-1450 calories a day and 30+ mins of exercise every second day has enabled me to lose 10.5 lbs. I CAN NOT BELEIVE I ACTUALLY HAD SUBSTANCIAL WEIGHT LOSS! That has never happened to me before. A pound or two yes but mainly it just goes up. Anyways this morning I'm off to my first day of basketball camp, it burns about 1400 calories so I'm going to have to eat a lot more than usual more fats and proteins and carbs... Low sodium, low fat carbs, lean proteins and healthy (NON saturated) fats. I really think I'm on the right track I just hope I can STICK WITH IT. THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT.
