Ht. 5'8", Start: 230 lb, Today: 227 lb, Goal: 160 lb - Hi, My name is Brooke and im new to this site. Ive started the Atkins diet this Monday and so far ive lost 3 pounds. I eat nothing but protein and run 1 mile a day on my treadmill. So far so good. By my 20th birthday ( April 19th of 08 ) I would love to meet my Goal weight. Since having a baby over a year ago its been extremely hard to lose the weight, and this diet has been the first one for me to see results! So i highly suggest it. I would love to talk to someone whos around the same weight and height as I am. I do have myspace, so if you are interested in talkin and having a weight loss buddy. Ht. 5'6", Start: 180 lb, Today: 180 lb, Goal: 140 lb - wow, i havnt been here for a while. how is everyone doing so far? i havnt lost anything but i also havnt gained, which is good. i walked home from school today, which was an hour walk, and im trying to get up early in the morning and go for a run. hope everyone is doing good!

Ht. 5'4", Start: 345 lb, Today: 322 lb, Goal: 190 lb - Okay, its anna again, today, so far so good. had some cold cereal, generic version of nutriagrain ( sp?)
and thats about it ( would have had fruit, but i would have been late for school) im in computer art class. im size 24 jeans. But im starting to feel a lack of motivation in the excersize department. should I do DDR right when I get home? i would go for a walk, but I have no music, and its snowing. Any suggestions?

Ht. 5'7", Start: 240 lb, Today: 184 lb, Goal: 140 lb - Do you guys think that having fried eggs is bad? I fry my eggs in Parkay, and it's one of my favorite meals of the day, but I'm not sure if it's considered really bad to eat this every morning. Anyway, I jump roped on Monday and Tuesday for 30 minutes. Now my calves are really sore, so I'm going to give them a break. Instead I'm going to work on my arms and abs for 15 minutes each. Hopefully by tomorrow my calves won't be too sore so I can jump rope again. I don't know if I have lost any weight since starting the jump roping because for two days I haven't been able to weigh myself. So, I'm really nervous about my Friday weigh-in. I think I have been going over my calorie count, so that's why I'm nervous. But this week is my week to lose weight since I lose weight every other week. Wish me luck!

Ht. 5'5", Start: 150 lb, Today: 145 lb, Goal: 130 lb - ok so i have a lot to ask about today! i just did my exercise for the day which was in my backyard, i spent 20 minutes alternating between jump rope and jumping jacks. i know it doesnt sound hard but it gets me sooo out of breath! more out of breath than jogging(what i normally do) does this mean its burning more calories too? i like it better than jogging so if its better for me too then ill stick with it. also i was wondering what your target heart rate should be when you work out. my heart was beating about 180x per minute. also, i had to take short breaks inbetween jumping(you know like 30 seconds) and during that time i was still breathing really heavy. does that mean im still burning a lot of calories? well id appreciate any answers to these questions! i feel like im finally getting back on track after a terrible easter!(i gained a half inch! :[) well i hope to hear from you! thanks and good luck everyone! time for american idol. haha

I've been eating too much sugary foods lately, so I've decided to not allow myself any candy for at least a week. Then I probably won't even want candy after the week is over. Any way, what is everyone's favorite meal and snack that you have? Mine is either my turkey on whole wheat with fat free cheese and mustard or my eggs and toast in the morning. My favorite snack is probably Quakes Rice Snacks...I like the cheddar cheese ones.
