Ht. 5'4", Start: 215 lb, Today: 215 lb, Goal: 160 lb - Well.. technically, I've lost almost 15 lbs. And I found this website, and wished I would've entered my real "starting" weight, rather then the weight I am at this exact moment... Maybe I can figure out how to change that.. BUT anyway, I was doing well lately (sord of) Until today, I stopped at McDonalds to grab lunch quick before I headed over to the theatre. I walked a mile, and ate Spring Vegtable soup (90 calories)... Hopefully this group while help me stay on track! Best of luck to everyone!

Ht. 5'7", Start: 240 lb, Today: 184 lb, Goal: 140 lb - I am having such a hard time losing weight now. It really sucks. I've still got 44 pounds to lose, and now I'm at the point where it's extremely hard. I think I'm going to talk to my mom about joining the YMCA. I need harder workouts. I was walking a few miles everyday and on occasion riding bikes. But it's not enough for me. My body is so used to walking. I'm still eating healthy. Today I'll be walking around for a few hours though. My boyfriend and I are going to the mall for a few hours to hang out, so we'll be walking most of the time. I was going to jump rope everyday for a half hour, but I did that on Tuesday, and my calves were so incredibly sore that I wouldn't be able to do it the next day. They aren't too sore right now. I guess I'll stick with jump roping. My calves will eventually adjust to it, and I should be able to jump rope for 30 minutes and not get sore. What about... I know it would speed up my weight loss. I don't like running much. I guess this is the point where I tell myself that I don't like being fat either, so I need to run. If I was to jog/speed walk every morning for 30 minutes do you guys think it would speed up my weight loss? Now, I just need the motivation to get up early enough to run. (view less)

Ht. 5'8", Start: 115 lb, Today: 699 lb, Goal: 135 lb - Okay so this is probably going to be deleted but I just have to write something with a few self kudos. So as a little hahaha I was like "oh yeah, I'm joining track this year" and then I actually joined track. Now I may have lost all my weight, but the whole cause of my weight problem was the fact that my hip bones were pitched forward so running was weird for me. Now that still hasn't corrected itself, so I looked like an idiot during my first time trial. Everyone had to run a 400 meter sprint (quarter mile) and a mile. Now for the mile time I got 10:37 and I couldn't finish the 400 meter sprint. I had to walk halfway through and starter crying. Now on thursday we did three 400 meter sprints and I got 100, 95, and 103 seconds which is acutally not bad, and extremely good for me. So I was so surprised and happy. Yay, go me!!!!

Ht. 5'6", Start: 167 lb, Today: 167 lb, Goal: 140 lb - I wish I didn't like TV and computer!!!!! It is the TV and the computer that gets me, has anyone else noticed that when you sit in front of a screen and do nothing, although you are entertained, and not that bored, you go up to the kichen and get that extra snack. I AM A GONNER..... i wish i could do something, but i know this sounds helpless, but TV and talking to my friends online, etc,. etc., makes me relaxed. ??????????????:(???????

Ht. 5'2", Start: 140 lb, Today: 146 lb, Goal: 110 lb - i used to have such a hard time eating healthy. but now i think about eating in a new way. everytime i go to reach for that cookie or frenchfry i just tell myself "in an hour it wont matter what you eat now, so eat something that you wont regret later when its on your hips." it actually really does work if you try to think about it. if my mom makes cheeseburgers for dinner, i opt for a salad and veggies of some sort, and later it doesnt bother me that i didnt eat the unhealthy food and i feel so much better that i made a good choice! just a tip for everyone, i dont know if it will work for you but it does for me.
