Ht. 5'5", Wt. 166 - 'Sup peeps?! LOL anyhow I just wanted to send out a big thank you to all of you guys for being so supportive and wonderful! (((hugs))) I also know a few of you were curious about what I've been doing. Well first my stats: I was 184lbs in Feb. 2006 and 5ft. 4in. now I am 166.2lbs and 5ft. 5in. My current goal for graduation is 160 and my ultimate goal (thinking next summer) is 145-150. Alright, well I've been raving about this book called The Diet for Teenagers Only! It's a plan. It's a slow lifestyle change they you will use forever. It will show you how to eat right for your growing body and exercise and feel good about yourself. It talks about eating disorders. It's very personalized for your calorie category! It's not a fad and it's magnificent and I've been following it since October 2005 when I felt... (view more)Ht. 5'5", Wt. 166 - 'Sup peeps?! It will show you how to eat right for your growing body and exercise and feel good about yourself. It talks about eating disorders. It's very personalized for your calorie category! It's not a fad and it's magnificent and I've been following it since October 2005 when I felt totally and utterly hopeless. As far as exercise is concerned, well I'm at that stage where now i have food under control for the most part but I'm trying to add in workouts. I have P.E. once a week and our gym teacher's a hard-care kickboxer, so I do lots of drills and classic gym workouts (jumping jacks, squats, push-ups, etc.) so when I do things at home I try to do something twice a week. My favs are my Weight Watchers cardio/strength training DVD, Pilates, yoga, and dancing! Whenever I can I try to do this local drop-in salsa class at this academy down the street. Also, doing more of little things totally helps. Take the stairs, walk, do squats while brushing your teeth, etc. And when I feel like a treat and, I'm only allowed to eat sweets twice a week. This is so not as scary as it sounds, and eventually it becomes fun and you love to watch you BMI drop and your pants get too baggy. :0) Good luck all! (view less)

Ht. 5'8", Wt. 169 - I found a really good workout on seventeen.com. Go to health then trainer. Hit the one that says improve postion and strengthen your core muscles. I've been doing it for 2 days and lost 3.5 lbs. I do it more then what they say though. They say 2 reps of 20 i do 6 reps of 20 thoughout the whole day.

Ht. 5'9", Wt. 176 - i heard a good way to calculate a good weight for your body is to add 100 for the first five feet and then another five poudns for every inch...so i'm 5'9 so i should weight 145..so that's what i'm going for! of course i know this isnt accurate for all people and some should weigh more or less depending on your body type..

Ht. 5'5", Wt. 166 - HEY CLAIRE! LOL girl if I was leaving (which i won't be for a LONG, LONG, TIME (probably not even after i reach my goal!) I would have sent you a post right away! I started to tear up when I saw how much you cared and I want to say thanks for being a good pal! And I totally agree. Start saving up for that microphone and get in some NBC news camera. Know any anorexics who need some sense whacked into them?! As I said before on one message one of my friends starved herself so I'm completely against that option, it can make you kind screwy up in your noggin if you know what I'm saying, as far as personality goes. And yes, we've both come SO far. You weighed over 200lbs before if I remember correctly? I mean come on! We chose lifelong health and happiness! Ht. 5'5", Wt. 166 - Awesomeness! This week I have gone from 166.4lbs to 166.2lbs! I hope it's not water weight or anything and hopefully I've broken my 5 month plateau! I'm more determined than ever now. This week I stayed in my doc's guidelines of only two sweets and I was able to get in at least 2 fruits and veggies per day!!! Yesterday my legs were super sore and my abs have been sore too, so I think that if I keep it up I'll be able to loose another 2 or 3 inches and 6 lbs by graduation!
