Ht. 5'5", Wt. 178 - I thought I did a pretty good job with my food portions, but I guess my stomach thought differently. I only had one plate, with almost everything on it, but in good, normal sized portions. I think my downfall was the mashed potatoes. I couldn't help it: I had a big clump of them instead of a smaller one. But I didn't have anymore afterwards! I felt full after dinner, but not the sick-full feeling. About an hour and a half later. We had pie. I had a small piece of pumpkin pie with one little blob of whipped cream, and a normal sized piece of apple pie with whipped cream. Then I had 2 small scoops of vanilla ice cream. About an hour after that, we played hide-&-go-seek with my big brother and his friend. I started to feel a little gassy, crouching in those spaces and staying there. It was really hard to keep it... Ht. 5'5", Wt. 167 - Hey guys! I did super well sconsidering today was Thanksgiving! I don't want to brag..but I have to share some tips and success for the following holidays! Well I had a good, filling breafast this mornin, oatmeal with sliced aple and skim milk. Before we left for the party I had a lowfat ypgurt. When we arrived I was armed with apurse full of hard candies and tips from a weight loss magazine. I had a platter full of veggies and lowfat dip and salsa to fil me up, lots of water, adn then I chewed on a mint. At dinner, I ate mushrooms, a small portion of potatoes, some meat, and lots of water. When I was full I stopped and didn't eat any more, leaving some food untouched. Then I chewed a mint and tlaked. At dessert, I had two small slices of only the pies I truly wanted with a scoop of lowfat ice cream. Between... (view more)

Ht. 5'5", Wt. 167 - Just a tip: late tonight I was just chillin when I started to feel phsyically hungry, I wasn't craving food oranything, than I drank a big galss of water and waited 15 min! I was STILL hungry, so I had a serving of baked chips and salsa and stopped. It helps to get spicy things so you eat less. :0)

Ht. 5'5", Wt. 167 - Food was not excelent today...but my breakfast had to be fast cause I was running late and I didn't knwo what I was gonna have for dinner. Breakfast: chsses toast on whole wheat bread/SNack: South Beahc Diet Wheat Thins/Lunch: 6 lowfat pipergo with a little bit of mushroom gravy/Dinner: 1/2 my HUGE serving of light cheese lasangna, some salad, and strng beans, pear and skim milk. My NSV (non-scale victory) for today is realzizing that simple things count, like not having extra servings. At lunch, I was tempted to get more gravy, then I though t myself, one tablespoon less at a time, and didn't do it. PLease ive me some engouraging words, I already have a game plan for Thanksgiving so I'm happy! I will only eat 1 serving of turkey and veggies, and I won't even bother with the pumpkin pie or cheesecake, I'll go... (view more)

Ht. 5'5", Wt. 160 - Hey everyone! How did I do today???? Breakfast: Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds with cut up banana. (about 300 calories I think) Lunch: Burger only with ketchup, milk, a little salad, and like four tater- tots. (Probably 600 cals.) Dinner: Spagetti with meatballs and toast and cranberry juice. (About 600 calories.) Dessert: Probably some 1/2 the fat egg-nog ice cream (about 200 calories) Excersize:I walked a little over 11,863 steps today total which burns320.3 calories (I wore my pedometer today) and maybe some "b-b's" So, what do ya think? I have been trying to walk over 10,000 steps everyday along with maybe a little excersize if I feel like it. I know I should make schedule so I will workout regularly, and I will soon. And once I do I will post it so you can get some ideas. Thanx so much for all of your support and opinions! LOve, Linds

Ht. 5'5", Wt. 167 - I think I gained a little bit of weight, but I'm not sure. Oh well, it's a new week! So, food today: Breakfast: Weight Watchers muffin, lowfat chocolate milk/Snack: South Beach Diet Cookies/Lunch: 1 slice leftover roasted eggplent pizza and lowfat pudding/Snack: leftover green veggie stir-fry Dinner: probably a veggie burger and potato and/or salad, baked apple, possible some sugar free Jell-o/Exercise: in school I had to help with some deliviers for our pie sale fundreaisers (my parents bought 3 fruit pies, one pumpkin, and one cheesecake, so at Thanksgiving I'll have a sliver of each) so we carried heavy boxers up and down the stairs for like 30-45 min, plus I jogged alittle to make it a workout! ***HOLIDAY TIP: Talk more at your parties than eat! And fill up some soup, salad, or veggies first. Stay away from soda and extra servings. Other than that if youy eat a bit of everything you should be good. If you exercise even 1-2 a week it will help.***
